We are a design company located near Seattle, Washington but we also provide design services if you live outside of the area through our online service.

Bee Designed is a furnishings and remodel online design option. Whether your room is in need of full renovation or a design facelift, we have a customized, turnkey solution to save you time and money. Our online service is a great way to enlist the help of a professional Interior Designer if you are on a budget but still want great style. It is a great way to decorate in stages - one room at a time at your own pace, or if you are a DIY-er at heart and enjoy managing your own design project. Our online service is a great way to take advantage of working with our design team, for a fraction of the cost of our full service design projects. You get a comprehensive design plan that you can manage on your own.

You and your space will Bee Designed with everything you need to know and to create a beautiful result, including a furniture plan, color palette, a shopping list with direct clickable links, and thorough instructions for turning your dream interior into a reality.

How Does Bee Designed Work?


Getting Started

Our online design works very much like regular design projects done by Bette Bennett Interior Design except for a few key things - Everything happens online instead of face-to-face, so we never actually visit your home. All products for our online projects are available through online and local retailers, as opposed to the custom and trade-only options that we use for our full-service design projects.



What's Needed

  • Digital photographs of every angle of the room
  • Thorough measurements

  • A completed Agreement & Style Assessment, and Client Profile - This ensures that our finished design is completely personalized for your space. The more we know about your likes and dislikes the better. We will then be able to create a design that represents your unique personality and style.



What To Expect

Once we have all of this information we set to work on your project. Then in 4-6 weeks, you will receive a personalized Bee Designed plan. Here is what you can expect to receive:

  • Your very own private, personalized, password protected page on our Bee Design Website (See examples here). This page will include all drawings, documents, mood boards and photographs with the specifics for your design project. You will be able to direct message with your designer as well.

  • The files you receive include a concept board with key pieces, a color palette, an itemized floor plan, furniture placement drawn to scale, furniture & accessories selections, fabric/wallpaper samples (per project), elevations (Per Project), a window treatment design (per project), a detailed shopping list with links, a budget breakdown, and instructions on how to implement your design. 

  • One re-selection may be made within 14 days of receiving your design plan. Any additional revisions will be charged an hourly fee of $197.


Ready To Get Started?

Once we receive your payment, you will get started on your Style Assessment and instructions.

The Assessment will ask you upload digital photos of the space or spaces that we will be working on, accurate measurements of the space, and the budget for the room's furnishings. 

You will also have the opportunity to give us an idea of what you love and the feel you want to achieve in your space. We gain insight through inspiration photos that you collect from magazines, blogs and other sources. These images also need to be uploaded through The Style Assessment Form. 

We will send you a status email at least once per week with the progress until the final design is delivered to you. We will also respond to any questions or concerns you may have instant messaged to us online or emailed to us throughout the project. 

We will be happy to provide "service after the sale" up to 14 days after the final design has been delivered to you.

What Does It Cost?

Our goal is to make our online design service affordable and easy for you to execute. Our fee is based on the details of the room package you choose and the time needed to complete your design.

Please note that online services are also available to local clients within our general service area. We will be happy to come to your home and do the measurements for you. This  will be considered a consultation, and a fee of $447 will apply for up to 2 hours. A consultation is NOT necessary.
